Green Day are a highly successful post-Nirvana alternative band that become one of very few that have successfully broken into the pop mainstream. Influenced by the likes of The Sex Pistols and The Clash, Green Day have been referred to as 'the kings of punk pop', and continue to attact a large crowd whenever they play live at any concert in the UK.
