Christchurch Priory Churches

The Priory has a long history stretching back to 1094 and even before that there was a Saxon church on the site.From 1094 until the dissolution of the monasteries in 1539 it was an Augustinian Priory.From the dissolution up to the present day the church has served the people of Christchurch as their Parish church.The Christchurch Priory Gift Shop, located in a separate building near the west door of the church, sells a wide variety of souvenirs and gifts, including china, musical items, postcards and childrens gifts.Here you can buy Christchurch Priory branded gifts such as preserves, mugs, tea towels, bookmarks, pens and a whole lot more!We have a stunning range of jewellery including Crosses and St Christopher's and a beautiful range of enamel earrings, necklaces and brooches exclusive to the Priory in Christchurch.
