We've selected some of the country's most demanding circuits so you can be sure of a fun-packed, exciting time. On arriving at the centre your instructor will begin with a safety briefing, instructions on your kart controls and you'll be provided with protective clothing. To familiarise yourself with the karts and the circuit there will be a few initial practice laps, then the competitive action begins with a typical programme consisting of a series of thrilling heats or warm ups, semi-finals and top performers experiencing a heart-thumping final. If you're the fastest round the track, you'll be awarded a prize trophy. What a great souvenir to take home to remind you of your special day out! The precise programme may vary at each activity venue.

The minimum age is 16 years. Please note the minimum age at Three Sisters, Lancashire is 18 years. This is a physical activity, you must be able to operate the steering, brake and accelerator fully and safely. Not suitable if you have a heart complaint etc.The height and weight restrictions vary per venue, please check with the individual supplier. You don't need to have a driving licence to go karting.
