Availability: At least three dates (could be any day of the week) per year between May and September. Weather: Driving may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions like heavy snow, flooding or high winds, which would make it dangerous. Please call the venue if in any doubt. Duration: Lasts for 90 minutes in total, including a safety briefing and introduction. Numbers On Day: Share the experience with three other participants. Each person is allocated their own digger and a qualified instructor looks after the group. Spectators: Up to two guests go free of charge and any additional spectators pay £19.95 each on the day, including access to Diggerland Park. Under 16's must be accompanied by an adult and anybody less than 90cm tall gets in free! Dress Code: Bring a change of clothes and shoes/boots are fine to get muddy or dusty. If it's raining, bring wellies and overalls if you have them (trainers are no good in the wet). Guidelines: Restrictions: Minimum age is 17. A full manual driving licence must be produced on the day to guarantee participation, however, no other special experience is necessary. Other Info: Please note that if any participant appears to be unfit due to alcohol, drugs or any other reason, event staff reserve the right to stop them taking part.

On arrival, receive a welcome introduction and essential safety briefing before climbing into the driving seat of the massive eight ton JCB to get ready for action! Then it's time for the real fun to begin - dig, move, earth fill holes and drive the vehicle under the professional guidance of a seasoned JCB instructor. After the session, feel free to spend the rest of the day enjoying all of Diggerland, Devon's many fun-filled attractions and rides at your leisure. A great driving themed day out!
