Little Moreton Hall Houses

This is Britain's most famous and arguably finest timber-framed manor house. The drunkenly reeling south front, topped by a spectacular long gallery, opens onto a cobbled courtyard and the main body of the Hall. Magnificent wall paintings and a notable knot garden are of special interest.

Panelling; on exterior, carvings and carpenters' marks. A basket of items including a Tyg mug, and pilgrims pot. Any of the exhibits in the Exhibition Room can be handled these include a gritstone tile and a barge board. Display of timber joints, roof slates, wattle and daub in Prayer Room. .
