The Totnes Guildhall encompasses over 900 years of Totnes history. Part of the Benedictine Priory, the building has fulfilled a number of purposes, including a school, a courthouse and a Guildhall. It is still used by the town council for meetings and functions even now.

The building features prison cells, a council chamber and Mayor's parlour.
