Merchant Adventurers Hall Houses
The Merchant Adventurers' Hall is of major national importance and is scheduled as an ancient monument. The medieval guild hall of the powerful Merchant Advenuturers Company was build between 1357 - 1361, and is one of the finest in Europe. The hall contains early furniture, one piece dating from the 13th Century, paintings, silver and weights and measures.
The Hall and its collections are now fully accessible with access from Fossgate. .
