North Somerset Museum Museums
North Somerset Museum tells the story of North Somerset through the objects in its care. The first museum was part of the Albert Memorial Industrial Night School and Museum. At the end of the 19th century the recently formed Urban District Council took over the collection and built a new purpose-designed building to house both museum and library. The new Library & Museum opened in the Boulevard on 27th June 1901.
