The Social History collections include a wealth of objects, photographs and other materials relating to the lives of Coventry people in the past and in the present. The range of topics includes domestic life, schooldays, fashion, toys and dolls, entertainment, numismatics and World War 2. The collection also reflects the history of Coventry itself and the Godiva story.
5,000 items of regional importance covering the main fashion changes from 1800- 1980 mainly consisting of women's fashions, including dresses, underwear, outerwear and accessories. .
