Opened on the 28 June 1884, this is the oldest remaining waterbalance cliff lift in Britian. Height of the lift is 120ft; length of the track is 207ft, refurbished with stained glass. Links Saltburn pier, one of the few left inn the country, with the town.

Open: Easter - Whit (daily) 10am - 5pm (closes for lunch 1pm - 1.30pm)

Whit - 12 Sept (daily) 10am - 7pm (closes for slunch 1pm - 2pm)

12 Sept - 31 Oct (weekends) 10am - 5pm
