Why not drop in the Visitor Centre and here you will find an indoor reconstruction of a period Village Street displaying the domestic and commercial life of the valleys.

The reconstructed 1950's village street houses three period shops and a cottage giving visitors the opportunity to explore the domestic and commercial aspects of valleys life over the past 150 years. This area also houses the 500sq ft mural and exhibition depicting the Tynewydd mining disaster of 1877.

The First floor houses the Art Gallery, where a regularly changing programme of exhibitions presents both local and national artists. Also, check out the Gallery for contemporary jewellery and unique gift ideas.
