New Pleasureland Theme Parks
Pleasureland was opened in King's Gardens, Southport, in 1912 with a Helter Skelter and figure eight rollercoaster. By 1924 the addition of a water chute, boats on the Marine Lake and a Hiram Maxim Flying Machine meant the park had outgrown its site and the rides and attractions were re-located to the park's present site on the beachfront.
Today, the park is home to five great rollercoasters, including the amazing TRAUMAtizer, which is Britains's tallest and fastest suspended rollercoaster. There are over 100 rides and attractions, making sure that there's fun for all the family.
All that excitement makes you hungry, but don't worry there's plenty of choice at Pleasureland, whether you want a full three-course meal or just a quick snack.
Visitors with disabilities are always welcome at Pleasureland, and our staff will offer assistance wherever possible. Disabled toilet facilities are located in the Burger Bar, Sky Ride, Casablanca and River Caves toilets (access by standard RADAR key). Safety is our main priority however, so access to rides is at the discretion of Ride Attendants
