Experience Scottish wildlife past and present in the spectacular setting of the Highland Wildlife Park. See the amazing variety of animals found in present day Scotland, then step back in time and meet the animals that our ancestors must have known, hundreds, even thousands of years ago. Drive around the Main Reserve in your own car and then investigate the walk-round area by foot.
During August we are open every day from 10am to 7pm with last entry at 5pm.
The Highland Wildlife Park was opened in 1972 and is run by the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland.
We are only 7 miles south of Aviemore. Travelling north on the A9 (Inverness), turn off for Kingussie / Kincraig, and follow the B1952 north. Travelling south on the A9 (Perth), turn off south of Aviemore for Kincraig and follow the B1952 through Kincraig to the Park.
