Next to Coniston Water, Waterhead Hotel has lawns running down to the lake shore and a restaurant with spectacular mountain views. The centre of Coniston is a 2-minute walk away. With views across the lawns and to the lake, The Waterhead lounge bar offers local ales, light snacks and afternoon tea. Mountain View Restaurant offers a fine menu of local cuisine. All of the bright en suite rooms at Hotel Waterhead have a TV, free toiletries and tea/coffee facilities. Some rooms have mountain and lake views. The Coniston ferry stops close the grounds and there are bus stops at the front of the hotel. In the English Lake District, Coniston Water offers lake cruises and there are walking routes close by. There is free private parking.
