The last thing you thought you would hear was Alan Carr being ticked off by a swanky hotel for rowdy bedroom behaviour with a female guest.

But this was no ordinary female guest; this was the Grammy Award Winning Adele!

Chatty Man and the sad song singer were reprimanded by hotel staff after their late night drinking session become far too rowdy for the other guests.

Alan Carr and Adele, who are very good friends, are often spotted drinking together in London. But as luck might have it, the pair both appeared in Manchester on the same evening.

The specie comedian was performing at the MEN in Manchester and Adele was playing at the Manchester O2 Apollo Arena.

After their performances, the couple decided to meet at the hotel and order very expensive bottles of Champagne, before deciding to carry on their two people party in a bedroom of the posh hotel.

Unfortunately the constant giggling and talking was keeping other residents awake, some even complained to the Manchester Lowry Hotel staff about the raucous behaviour.

A source from the hotel said, 'Alan and Adele had been ordering bottles of the hotel's most expensive champagne, after chatting for hours like fishwives they decided to carry on drinking until the early hours in a hotel room ' as soon as they were asked by staff to quieten down they both laughed and promised to keep noise to a minimum.'

The morning after the rowdy night before Alan Carr jokingly said, 'That's got to be a first. Me and a female making too much noise in the bedroom. I've never heard that one before. It'll be the talk of the town.'

Well Alan, you were right everybody is talking about it! It's the funniest thing that's happened all week!

Luckily, Alan and Adele will be performing at either end of the country tomorrow, with Alan Carr taking his 'Spexy Beast UK Tour' to Bournemouth and Adele, who has just recovered from her chest infection, will be performing at Usher Hall in Edinburgh.

Tickets for the raucous artists are available from www.britevents.com
