Bob Hoskins dies at 71

Bob Hoskins, who made his name in hit movies The Long Good Friday and Who Framed Roger Rabbit, has died of pneumonia aged 71.



Bob Hoskin's agent told reporters that the Oscar-winning star died surrounded by family in hospital on Tuesday.

The British movie star announced in 2012 that was retiring due to being diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease.

Linda, his wife said, "We are devastated by the loss of our beloved Bob. Bob died peacefully at hospital last night surrounded by family, following a bout of pneumonia. We ask that you respect our privacy during this time and thank you for your messages of love and support."
