Classic Car & Bike Show | 3 Aug 2014 at The Rufus Centre, Flitwick - With an extensive line-up of over 100 classic cars and bikes, auto jumble stalls, live music, craft stalls, Pimms and real ale tents, food outlets, children's entertainment, face painting, go-karts and magic shows, there's something on offer here for all the family! It's not too late to pre-register your vehicle if you're a classic car enthusiast! To enter your car or bike it's £3 per car or £2 per bike and all must be in position on the field by 11.45am prompt. There's a Best in Show Trophy, rosettes will be awarded to the Best in each Class and rally plaques will be given to all exhibitors.

Great Pier Swim | 9 Aug 2014 at Chalkwell Beach, Southend - This exciting swim is back for its seventh year and remains as one of the most unique sea swims in the UK.This iconic route will see you swim directly through the structure of the worlds longest pier. This is a challenging 3.3k route from Chalkwell Beach to Jubilee Beach in Southend with views of the infamous Southend seafront on one side and the pretty Kent countryside over the water

Cowes Week | 2 - 9 Aug 2014 at Cowes, Cowes - Since 1826 Cowes Week has played a key part in the British sporting summer calendar and is one of the UK's longest running and most successful sporting events. Jim Davidson | 31 Jul 2014 at Britannia Theatre Great Yarmouth, Great Yarmouth - Jim Davidson has made a name for himself not only as a comedian but as a TV presenter and actor also. He was awarded an OBE for his tireless services to British forces overseas visiting conflict zones to entertain British services personnel. He succeeded Bruce Forsyth as host on 'The Generation Game' in 2007 and also recently appeared on 'Hell's Kitchen' with Gordon Ramsey.

Tom Jones | 1 Aug 2014 at Newmarket Racecourse, Newmarket - Tom Jones may be approaching 70, but he shows little sign of slowing down. 1914: The Eve of War | 2 - 3 Aug 2014 at Kentwell Hall, Sudbury - This summer, Kentwell is holding a special event marking the centenary of the outbreak of the Great War. 'The Eve of War' will focus upon the domestic context of life in 1914 the weekend before war was declared. The event will run over the weekend of the 2nd-3rd August, with around 20-30 re-enactors on site portraying life as it was for families, men signing up, household staff and others, prior to the war. The house and gardens will be open on both days for visitors from 11am-5pm, as on normal opening days, and light lunches and snacks will be available from our tea room
