Cycle mania hits south London

The latest cycle event to hit the streets of London takes place on Sunday, October 5th with the Big Bike Ride along the Thames Cycle Path, the largest sponsored bike ride in South East London.



The latest cycle event to hit the streets of London takes place on Sunday 5th October with the Big Bike Ride, the largest sponsored bike ride in South East London which follows the Thames Cycle Path.

The event will see hundreds of cyclists follow the Thames from Erith to Greenwich via the Firepower Museum in Woolwich.

It all starts at 10am and riders have the choice of three start points; Erith, Greenwich and Woolwich, and they can choose from either a 12 or 27 mile route. All routes take in the sights and sounds of the Thames, with achievable distances for the whole family to ride at their own pace.

Registration is 10 for adults, 5 for children (aged 5-15) and a family ticket is available for 25 (two adults and two children).

All participants will receive a free bottle of water, and the first 50 families to book a family ticket will also get a Frankie & Bennys *Kids Eat Free voucher (*valid for one year & under 11 year olds only).
