Footballers at Ingoldisthorpe Football Club in Lynn were accused of acting like 'hooligans' after staging a protest at the loss of their football pitch.

The Lynn News website has reported on claims that some people and stalls were being hit by footballs that were being kicked around the field by the footballers.

Lynn Social and Sports Club has been locked in dispute with the football club for some time, due to the way the field has been left following the car boot sales, and claims that the FA rules out games played on the field.
