The V&A museum in London is offering its visitors a once in a lifetime opportunity, between now and 27th January 2013, to see over 100 iconic costumes from films throughout history, including Wizard of Oz, Star Wars, Some Like It Hot and The Artist.

The exhibition is giving people the chance to see some previously unseen and historic items of costume, as well as an understanding of how the various costume designs played major parts in the films' storytelling.

The exhibition is spread throughout three rooms, and spans almost a century of film history.  It has proved incredibly popular so advance booking (here) is essential, or you can turn up at 10a.m at the museum for a chance to buy one of the limited tickets available on the day.  You can also call 020 79077073 or book in person at the V&A.
