Jay-Z announces UK autumn tour

The US rap star Jay-Z has announced a UK tour in support of his new album Magna Carta...Holy Grail, which has topped the UK charts this weekend. The tour will be calling at the prestigious O2 Arena in London for three nights.



The US rapper Jay-Z has hit the UK number 1 spot in the album charts this weekend with his new album titled Magna Carta... Holy Grail.

This is the rapper's twelfth studio album and is his highest-charting release since the collaborative project Watch The Throne featuring Kanye West, which was released in 2011 which reached number three in the UK album charts.

Magna Carta...Holy Grail knocked Mumford and Son's Babel off the top spot after their album enjoyed a surge in sales since they appeared at Glastonbury earlier in the year.

The rapper, who is married to Beyonce, has announced this week that he will be supporting his album release with a European tour. He will be kick starting the UK leg of his Magna Carta tour on 3 October at the Manchester Arena before moving on to Dublin, Birmingham and three dates at the prestigious O2 Arena in London.

Jay-Z tickets for all the European dates will go on sale on Friday 19 July from www.britevents.com
