The Duchess of Cambridge has received a package from the Kardashian sisters, which contained clothes that Kim, Khloe and Kourtney have designed for their new Dorothy Perkins range. The package was not accepted by the Duchess and returned to the reality TV sisters.

Kate Middleton is known for her sense of style and receives rave reviews from the admiring public and critics alike for her effortless royal style.

Famed for her feminine approach using high end high street fashion with unfussy and flattering clothes it was no surprise that the Duchess did not accept a package sent to her from the Karashian sisters containing their latest business interest, clothes from their Dorothy Perkins range!

Kim Kardashian is rumoured to have invited the Duchess for tea whilst staying in London.

A source has said: 'The Kardashians want to be as big in the UK as they are in America, and think that associating themselves with the royals, especially Kate, will help them achieve that.

'She hoped Kate might be seen wearing one of the designs out in public, which would give their fashion credentials a huge boost'.

Kim has been known to compliment Kate's fashion choices, saying: 'Kate seems like a really sweet person and she's a princess. We love her sense of fashion. She could wear our looks and team it with one of her hats'.

MailOnLine were told by a representative of the Duchess that most gifts that were sent by the Karashians are returned.

They said: 'In general terms, the policy of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge is not to accept any unsolicited gifts unless the sender is know personally to His or Her RoyalHighnesses. Any Such gifts are returned to the sender with thanks and an explanation of their Royal Highnesses' policy'.

Poor Kim, It looks like that the Duchess really doesn't want to be her best friend after all! Will she get the hint though?
