Olympic Games gig showcase Brit talent

Music fans and sporting fans are looking forward to the London 2012 Opening Ceremony with four acts representing the four home nations at Hyde Park on 27 July.



The Olympic Games is looking fantastic, not just for sports fanatics but for music lovers too.

The line-up for BT London Live Opening Ceremony Celebration has been confirmed and will showcase some of the best talent from around the British Isles.

The London 2012 Opening Ceremony Celebration will be held in London's Hyde Park on Friday 27 July and four great acts will be representing the four home nations.

Representing Northern Ireland will be Snow Patrol, Scotland will be represented by Paolo Nutini, England's representatives will be 80's band Duran Duran and Stereophonics will be headlining for Wales.

All four acts will be playing their greatest hits to an audience of over 60,000.

The closing celebration which is to be held again in Hyde Park on 12 August is also looking exciting, as Blur have already been confirmed for 2012's eagerly awaited sporting event.

Tickets for the BT London Live Opening Ceremony Concert are on sale from this Friday at 9am from btlondonlive.com.

BT customers will be able to pick them up 24 hours earlier via bt.com/londonlive.
