Awarded a pavement plaque almost twenty years after he was first nominated for one, Sir Paul McCartney talks to fans to comment on the unveiling of his belated plaque on Hollywood's Walk of Fame.

The veteran rock star joins a list of 2,458 stars, actors and celebrities who grace the pavements of fifteen blocks of Hollywood Boulevard in California. The Walk of Fame attracts more than 10 million visitors each your, and spans 1.3 miles, with the stars spaced at 6 foot intervals.

The former Beatle brought several of his mates along, including Neil Young, Elvis Costello, Diana Krall and Herbie Hancock, who also attended the glitzy ceremony.
