Ben Drew, who has had a busy and successful few of years, is now working on his third studio album and debut film production III Manors'.

But hard work doesn't faze the Plan B star as he is now planning to set up a new charity, The Sun reported.

The rap star told The Sun, I want to start an umbrella charity giving money to smaller charities in England.

The singer has previously talked openly about his upbringing and childhood; his work is mostly about injustice and life on the streets, his umbrella charity will be very close to his heart.

He explained I'm talking about stuff within the community, protecting kids ' the kind of kids that were out rioting and feel like they have no prospects.

At one point I felt how they felt. He added.

I got kicked out of school and I went to a pupil referral centre, but it was the best thing that happened to me.

The singer songwriter who comes from a broken home and has had problems with people underestimating him said, If there were more places like that, it wouldn't matter if they had a bad family life.

He told the paper that there are charities out there who do care and can help point troubled young people in the right direction, money from his own charity will go to help these causes.

Plan B will be headlining the Forest Tour 2012 where he will be playing Thetford Forest, Sherwood Pines Forest Park, Bedgebury National Pinetum, Tetbury's National Arboretum, Cannock Chase in Staffordshire and Dalby Forest in Scarborough.
