The Queen and Princess Anne have planted a tree in Sandringham Estate to mark her Diamond Jubilee.

Queen Elizabeth and Princess Anne have planted a tree in the grounds of Sandringham Estate to mark the monarch's Diamond Jubilee.

Diamond Jubilee celebrations will take place during an extended holiday taking place on the 2nd-5th June this year. The Queen came to the throne on 6th February 1952, with her coronation taking place on 2nd June 1953.

Dancers, musicians, military and equestrian displays from around the world will http://www.diamond-jubilee-pageant.com/>come together for three nights in the private grounds of Windsor Castle on 10, 11 and 13 May.
