Rob Brydon is a Welsh actor, comedian, radio and television presenter, singer and impressionist. First coming to the public's attention in 2000 with the shows Marion and Geoff and Human Remains, and subsequently winning British Comedy Awards for both, he has since become a household name appearing in well-loved series such as Black Books, I'm Alan Partridge, Little Britain and Gavin and Stacey, among many others. Rob is the host of the successful panel show Would I Lie To You? and can also be seen on QI, The Big Fat Quiz Of The Year and Have I Got News For You.

After making his theatre debut in 2011 playing opposite Kenneth Branagh in The Painkiller at The Lyric Theatre in Belfast, he reprised the role in London last year and has also starred in Future Conditional at The Old Vic, as well as Alan Ayckbourns A Chorus of Disapproval and his one man show Rob Brydon Live in the West End. In 2010, Rob joined forces with Steve Coogan and director Michael Winterbottom to create the BBC series The Trip, in which the pair starred as fictionalised versions of themselves on a restaurant tour of northern England. It was described by the Guardian as "one of the funniest things on TV and was nominated for the 2011 BAFTA Television Award for Best Situation Comedy. A second series, The Trip To Italy followed in 2014 and it was recently announced that the pair would return in a third instalment, with filming currently underway in Spain.
