In royal fashion, the Queen is set to mark her 60th anniversary with a blow out, star-studded concert featuring music legends that span four decades. This anniversary marks the day the Queen's father died and she ascended to the throne of England.

The celebration will be a live music event of epic proportion including performances by Paul McCartney, Dame Shirley Bassey, Jessie J, Annie Lennox, Sir Elton John, and various other high profile musical acts.

Those interested in attending the concert will be able to apply online for tickets via a ballot, of which there will be ten thousand available. Tickets will be distributed on a random, first come, first served basis in order to ensure fairness.

It seems the entire British musical world will be there to help the Queen mark the anniversary of her 60-year reign. A show at this level has not been produced in many years. A concert of such magnitude is truly a musical event that the Queen and all people in attendance will remember for the rest of their lives.

Star studded performances, live music, and the amazing entertainment that is scheduled for this show will surely make The Queen's Diamond Jubilee Concert one for the history books.

Performances slated for the show will include one time only duets and collaborations designed exclusively for the celebration as well as classic hits performed by the artists themselves.

The stage and scenery has all been designed by architect Mark Fisher, known for his stellar work with such world class acts as The Rolling Stones, U2, and Robbie Williams.

This phenomenal royal celebration is the brain child and collaboration of former 'Take That', boy band member, Gary Barlow and the BBC. Gary Barlow has been quoted as saying, 'I want the whole world to be on that stage.' His ambition for this concert knows no bounds, and it's sure to be a crowd pleasing event.

A special bonus for ticket holders will be a jubilee picnic for all attendees that is set to take place in the Buckingham Palace Garden.

This event takes place in June when the weather promises to be perfect for a day of musical celebration.

Gary Barlow has stated that there will be an announcement of more musical acts that will participate in the festivities as the date of the jubilee draws closer. He intends this celebration to be a musical event that will go down as one of the best concerts ever.

The Queen will be entertained and her reign celebrated like never before in history. The royal family has enjoyed a recent surge in popularity with the wedding of Prince William and The Queen's Diamond Jubilee Concert in June will help the whole royal family celebrate the Queen's reign in rock n' roll style.

The concert is scheduled to be broadcasted live on BBC One, BBC One HD and on BBC Radio 2 in the UK and to millions all around the globe. Viewers in America will get a chance to see major concert highlights on the ABC network the day after the show.
