NME.com have confirmed that The Maccabees will be performing at the NME Awards later this month.

The Maccabees will be joining the likes of Kasabian and The Vaccines, for a live performance at the NME Awards at the O2 Academy Brixton on 29 February.

It has also been confirmed that The Horrors and Florence and the Machine will be performing a special collaboration at the awards this year.

Ex-Oasis star Noel Gallagher is also set to play at the award ceremony, and will also be picking up his own NME Award for Godlike Genius.

Leading the way in the NME nominations are the Arctic Monkeys with seven nods, Muse, Kasabian and Florence and the Machine receiving three, and The Horrors, Hurts and The Vaccines scoring two nods in two categories, NME.com reported.

Voting for this year's NME Award closes this Friday, so with only 3 days to go, who will you be voting for?
