Source | 30 Aug 2014 at Artsdepot, North Finchley - When Londons sewers and underground system were first created, six tunnellers were sent underground in a secret mission to find and save the sources of Londons rivers before they became buried forever. Now, 158 years later, during building works for Londons new super-sewer, these curious long-forgotten tunnellers emerge, travelling with their giant mobile water-spurting laboratory in a burst of song, dance and acrobatic displays. Space- Time: The Future | 30 Aug 2014 at Wysing Arts Centre, Cambridge - Space-Time: The Future is Wysing Arts Centre's fifth annual festival of art and experimental music. For the first time it will focus primarily on women in experimental and electronic music and art, or bands fronted by women. The festival will include twelve hours of live music, performance and screenings across three indoor stages alongside a covered stalls area, presenting artists' editions, music merchandise and publications. Prohibition Party | 6 - 7 Sep 2014 at The Bloomsbury Ballroom, Holborn - On Saturday 6th September, glamorous pleasure-seekers are invited to party as if its 1922 at a secret central London location at Prohibition Party. Obscured from the prying eyes of patrol officers, this evening of illicit drinking and good times will immerse guests into a night full of rip-roaring live bands including a performance from The Puppini Sisters, a Charleston dance-off and a secret warren of new themed and interactive rooms with a secret drinking den hosted by the Vintage Mafia. In an age of loosening morals, soaring stocks and bootleg barons, opulence and exuberance is the order of the day at Prohibition Party. Located in an Art Deco ballroom, guests will be transported back to the Jazz Age to enjoy all the giddy forbidden magic of the roaring twenties

Peace and Poppyfields | 6 - 7 Sep 2014 at St Mary's Parish ChurchAtherstone, Warwickshire, Atherstone - This is a two day flower and music event of local Memories of the Great War on the 6 September, 10am to 4pm and 7 September, 11am to 4 pm. There is an exhibition of 144 photographs of the 150 men from Atherstone who fell during the war. There are artefacts from their families on display. On the evening of the 6 September at 7pm there is a concert "Peace and Poppy-fields" performed by musicians and singers from Birmingham Conservatoire

Didcot Urban Race 2014 | Today at Didcot Town FC, Didcot - Run, jog or just walk - this is a fun and exciting event for the Summer Bank Holiday! It's organised by Thames Valley Orienteering Club and is ideal for all ages and abilities - families, children and runners too. An orienteering race does not follow a set route.
