Photographers give their own perspective on Britain in the 21st Century looking at life and what it means to be a Britain. Light In The Lens | 25 - 29 Oct 2014 at Building B, , Camberley, - Open10am 3pm Daily CostFree Public Admission As photographers we use light in our pictures to bring out the character in portraits, the grain and texture in surfaces, and to concentrate our gaze within the frame. We pick a particular moment in time to grasp the ever-changing light and capture a unique visual record. This exhibition includes images from the widest range of subjects, which we hope will add to the exhibitions appeal. What all these photographs have in common is the way in which the light has transformed each image so that it becomes dramatic and special

Into the Woods | 28 Oct - 1 Nov 2014 at Magna Carta Arts Centre, Staines - Hatton Operatic Society present Into the Woods. Whilst curses, cows, shoes, capes and much more is all you can ask for in a Fairy Tale, this one has a dark twist that might leave a bitter taste in your mouth. Little Red Riding Hood, the Wolf, Jack and the Beanstalk, two princes, Cinderella and her not-so-pretty sisters, and Rapunzel all appear. But there is a witch's curse to contend with too

The Snow Queen | 28 Oct 2014 at The Radlett Centre, Radlett - Filled with the strange beauty of ice-cold winter and the warmth of true love, this Hans Christian Anderson fairy tale translates perfectly into one of Image Musical Theatre's much loved participation musicals. When a boy is tricked and whisked away to the frozen north, it is only the love and loyalty of Gerda, his childhood friend, that is powerful enough to rescue him. With the opportunity for the whole audience to sing the chorus songs and for some children to participate as characters, this show will give audiences, both young and old, the chance to experience live theatre at its best. Dr Feelgood | 24 Oct 2014 at Clair Hall, Haywards Heath - Band members include Robert Kane, Steve Walwyn, Kevin Morris and P H Mitchell and collectively they produce their own brand produce pub rock/ blues rock with high energy live performances. Their 1976 album 'Stupidity' reached number 1 in the UK album charts, yet the band struggled to remain united. Their original front man Lee Brilleaux died in 1994 from Cancer yet insisted that a reunion mid-90s must take place and new members were found. They have produced over 20 albums

Breathe | 1 Nov 2014 at The North Wall Arts Centre, Oxford - Thought provoking and playful, Breathe looks at the complex, fundamental process of breathing through the lenses of science, medicine, and literature. Orlando Gough has developed Breathe through dialogue with staff and patients in the Churchill Hospital Respiratory Medicine department. Breathe forms part of the Breath Festival of talks and events which will take place on 1 November.

Clean Bandit | Today at Norwich UEA, Norwich - Coming together as a group in Cambridge in 2009, electronic group Clean Bandit first reached the top 40 UK charts with their single Mozart's House in 2013, and followed it up with chart topping single Rather Be which reached number one for four weeks.
