Cockney Rejects are a East London Oi! punk band who have been playing working class anthems since 1977.

The Cockney Rejects are oft credited, in fact, with giving Oi! music it's name with their hit single "Oi, Oi, Oi" in 1980.The Rejects are as famous for their fans as they are for their sound. Beloved by football hooligans and other street toughs in their early days (and outspoken loyal supporters of West Ham United F.C themselves), Cockney Rejects shows of the early 1980's are remembered both for their classic performances and the occasional punch up. No posers here, singer Jeff Turner (a former top amateur boxer) was quick to dive into the crowd and separate his beloved fans himself if he felt the bouncers weren't doing a good enough job of it.Those days long gone now The Cockney Rejects focus on their music being "back on the street" and playing the best of the best Oi! punk to a whole new generation of admirers. Every show has more than a few older, but wiser, faces in the crowd as well!
