For his thousands of fans, he is known as Duke Special.

But for his family, friends and loved ones, he is their dear Peter Wilson. Lisburn , North Ireland witnessed the birth of this very talented performer and songwriter. Piano became his close buddy when he was still little. Now that he is making waves in Belfast as an alternative, folk and soul artisit, paino is still his companion. This musical instrument has helped him make a mark as a romantic and warm performer on stage. The accented voice, long dreadlocks and unique outfits are truly his. Every time he sets foot on stage, he will like trasnform the venue into a music hall or the Vaudeville. Fans will scream for more as he makes use of a gramophone or an old transistor radio. In 2005, Duke Special released his album "Adventures in Gramophone". The following year, he came up with "Songs from Deep Forest". These 2 albums made a mark among music lovers and were given nominations in the Choice Music Prize. His other albums include I Never Thorught this Day Woudl COme, Little Revolutions, The Silent World of Hector Mann, Mother COurage and Her Children, Under the Dark Cloth and Oh Pioneer. Talent and uniqueness - these two words best describe Duke Special and nobody does it like him.
