Emilie Autumn Tickets

A world-class violinist and a fashion icon with a touch of macabre, Emilie Autumn is a widely known underground artist who redefined the music scene by merging two distant musical entities, Rock and Classic, and gave birth to her very own distinctive brand of music--the “Victorianindustrial”. With her signature violin-shredding hard metal riffs, enticingly hypnotic voice, plush corset and flamboyant outfit addiction, she is a certified show stopper and a unique stage performer. Emilie was featured in several glossy magazines and TV shows (Metalocalypse), and made an appearance to some albums of artists such as Courtney Love, Otep and Billy Corgan. In 2006, she released her album Opheliac and was considered to be a “highly theatrical” and “instrumentally lush” album. In 2007, she gave birth to another album Lace and Unlaced which received good critics as well. She is currently performing with her backup band, The Bloody Crumpets, and is becoming more and more popular in Europe. With the signature heart symbol on her face, Emilie Autumn has truly captured the hearts of her listeners.

That's one massive claim, so BritEvents' Lucy Middleton catches up with the four piece band to find out more about their epic sound.
