Yes, Eugene McGuinness is back - very back.

Most noted as a singer-songwriter sharing the label with the Last Shadow Puppets and for his work as a guitarist of Miles Kane's backing band, Eugene McGuinness left the latter to pursue his own career. However, this young chap who is now restyled as the voice of London youth no longer has the trace of the meek and shy lad he used to be. McGuiness comes back as a bequiffed gent with a confident swagger and tight trousers. His latest album "The Invitation To The Voyage" was released on August 6, 2012 as a much awaited follow up to his 2009 album, "Glue". This exceptionally lively album keeps the quirkiness that his previous albums have, but with an infectious twist, including the pizzicato violins, growling guitars and flurries of horns on Thunderbolt and Japanese Cars. McGuiness music is heavily influenced by the 60's that reminds you of James Bond's spy films and grainy TV shows.
