First Aid Kit band is a Swedish folk duo comprising of sisters, Klara Soderberg andJohanna Soderberg from Enskede, Stockholm.

The two had been writing folk-influenced songs since 2007 but stormed into the limelight when a video of the song "Tiger Mountain Peasant Song" which they redid went viral on YouTube. This prompted the original composers Fleet Foxes, to invite them for a featured performance in the Netherlands back in 2008.The duo released their debut album in 2010. The Big Black & The Blue was released by the Rabid Records label. During an extensive tour after the release of the debut album, they collaborated with Jack White and Bright Eyes. Their second album, The Lion's Roar was released in January 2012.Some of their hit singles are "Hard Believer", "I Met Up With A King" and "Ghost Town" in the debut album and "Emmylou" and "Blue" in the album, The Lion's Roar.
