As a popular German composer and big band leader, James Last has achieved major success with over 100 million albums sold worldwide.

The 'James Last Orchestra' is often famed for its big band arrangements, its party compilations and popular hits also. James Last released an impressive 56 albums between 1967 and 1986 which makes him second only to Elvis Presley! One of his little known tracks was adopted by Quentin Tarrantino in the film 'Kill Bill vol1' (Gheorghe Zamfir).
