Joe Cocker (OBE) is famed for his gritty voice and first saw popularity in the 1960 with his rock/blues sound, his composing and acting. He famously sang the duet 'Up Where We Belong' with Jennifer Warnes from the movie soundtrack to 'An Officer and a Gentleman' which won them a Grammy Award in 1983. He has successfully covered many popular hits including Beatles songs along with writing his own material. Between 1969 and 2010 Cocker has released 22 albums, the latest of which is 'Hard Knocks' (2010).
