Joshua Winslow Groban or more popularly known as Josh Groban is a singer, songwriter, actor, musician and even a very successful record producer in America.

Four of his first albums have been accredited as multi-platinum. When 2007 came, he was declared as the number one best-selling artist in the US with more than 21 million records. In present time, he has about sold records of more than 25 million all over the world. Originally, Josh took up acting but then he transferred to singing just when he realized that his voice started to develop. He attended a school for the Arts in Los Angeles, a public high school where students can be able to obtain a conservatory kind of education. His simple and normal life was changed when Seth Riggs, his vocal coach shared a recorded tape of him singing one of the songs from Phantom of the Opera to David Foster, a composer, producer and arranger. He was then asked by Foster to be a substitute for Bocelli to practice a duet with Celine Dion singing The Prayer at the Grammy Awards rehearsals in 1998.
