This Italian rapper is both singer and song writer and he's best known for his hit, Tutto L'Amore Che Ho, which made it to number one in the Italian charts. After Jovanotti's breakthrough in the late eighties, he has a dozen studio albums under his belt, and an impressive gigging history.
Jovanotti is almost as well known for his pacifism as he is for his music and he uses his live performance as a vehicle for his political and philosophical opinions. Jovanotti is currently touring his native Italy, beginning with a date at the Palamazzola in Taranto. He then hops the pond to play a host of US gigs with dates beginning at the Grand Central, Miami on 10 March before eventually winding up at the El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles on 17 March.
