Kenneth Arthur Dodd (OBE) is famed for his Liverpool roots in Knotty Ash, his frizzy hair, buck teeth and 'tickle stick'.

He rivalled 'The Beatles' as a household name in the 1960 and became a popular comedian and singer selling over 100 million records worldwide. Dodd's style is rapid-fire gags (often concerning his own brushes with the tax office!) and his work with 'The Diddymen' (usually local stage school children). He still performs regularly around the country.
