Missing Andy Tickets

"Missing Andy" have announced a comprehensive tour of the UK, set to kick off this spring. The Essex based 5 piece shot to prominence as the runners up to the solo act "Emma's Imagination", on the music competition reality show, "Must Be The Music"- broadcast on Sky 1 in 2010.

The band describe their sound as particularly vintage. They are inspired directly by the 'mod bands' of the 60's and 70's, with "The Who" being one of their major influences.

"Missing Andy" had notable success with their first single "The Way We're Made (Made In England)", which peaked at 38 on the UK top 100. Their debut album "Generation Silenced" was released as a digital download, in October 2011. Despite a positive critical reception, the debut was a commercial disappointment for the band, and failed to live up to expectations.

The tour is set to kick off mid-March and will run through to the end of the month, when the band will retreat into the studio, to begin work on a as of yet untitled, follow-up to 2011's "Generation Silenced".
