Modestep were formed in 2010, and are a four- piece dubstep/electronic rock band from London.

The members of the group are DJing brothers, Tony and Josh Friend, roommate Matthew Curtis and guitarist Nick Tsang. They released their debut single 'Feel Good' in the UK on 7 February 2011.The song was released as three-track extended play single and featured a remix and another track called 'Bite The Hand'. The debut single managed to reach the BBC Radio 1 playlist and on the 13 February 2011, 'Feel Good' debuted at No. 38 in the UK Singles Chart. Modestep released a music video of their new single 'Sunlight' on the 3 July 2011 on YouTube, and within four days the video had received over 1 million views within just four days. 'Sunlight' made it to the Radio 1 A-list and hit the UK charts at No.16.
