Robyn Rihanna Fenty was born in Barbados and moved to the US to pursue her recording career at the age of 16. Known now simply as 'Rihanna', she released her debut album in 2005 titled 'Music of the Sun' which saw her popularity grow. In 2006/7 she released two further albums; 'Girl Like Me' and 'Good Girl Gone Bad' which included hit singled like 'Umbrella' and 'Don't Stop the Music'. 2009 and 2010 saw two more albums; 'Rated R' and 'Loud', Rihanna is believed to have sold over 25 million albums worldwide.
