The Puppini Sisters Tickets

Three beautiful ladies, singing close harmony arrangements, dressed in 1940's formal attire brings to mind the era of the Andrews Sisters and the forever missed Golden Age of Hollywood. But unlike the Andrews Sisters, The Puppini sisters are not sisters at all, not in the biological sense anyway. In fact, having met in the same jazz school, this is where their similarities ended. The trio consists of Marcella Puppini (dance music and punk rock), Stephanie O'Brien (classical/violin) and Kate Mullins (heavy metal). These multifaceted and talented ladies may have different backgrounds and resumes, but that is exactly what allows this successful trio to be unique and genuine in their style.

Backed by a three-piece band, the Puppini Sisters have the ability to incite memories of a by-gone era, however, their versatile backgrounds allows for nuances and contrasts to give former well-known songs personality and flair. Hailed to be part of the "burlesque revival" they have been described as everything from "swing-punk" to "rockabilly". They have also been likened to "ska" music, made popular by Gwen Stefani and No Doubt.
