Pioneers of alternative rock, The Stone Roses could be said to have invented the 'Madchester' movement of the 80's and 90's.
Consisting of band members Ian Brown, Gary Mounfield, Alan 'Reni' Wren and John Squire, the group recently announced they are to be re-united and would perform two special concerts in their home town of Manchester in 2012, followed by a world tour and third album.
