Wolfmother is a Grammy award winning hard rock band that has won the hearts and minds of millions of fans worldwide. The band was formed in Sydney Australia back in 2000 by three band members. Currently, the band has five members including; Andrew Stockdale (lead vocals and guitar), Ian Peres (bass, backing vocals and keyboards), Vin Steele (rhythm and guitar), Elliott Hammond (percussion and harmonica) and Hamish Rosser (drums).Since releasing their debut album 'Wolfmother' in October 2005, the band has gone ahead and released five more albums. To date their debut album is still regarded as their best ever as it received platinum certification in Australia and gold certification in Canada, US and the UK. The album was also named the 15th greatest album in 2006 by the Rolling stone Magazine.Wolfmother have been nominated for 25 awards and have won 9 of these awards including the prestigious 2007 Grammy award for the best hard rock performance.
