Blondie

American rock band, Blondie were at the forefront of the new wave/punk sounds of the mid-1970s. Debbie Harry and Chris Stein founded the Blondie partnership and have incorporated into the band many other musicians through the years. Alison Moyet

Essex girl, Genevieve Alison Jane Moyet, born 1961 is famed for her deep bluesy voice and her career both in the band Yazoo (1981) and as a solo artist. Yazoo's hits include 'Only You' and 'Don't Go' then her solo career began with the album 'Alf' in 1984. Jose Carerras is one of Spain's most successful Operatic tenors. His career on stage began at the age of 11 and he has gone on to secure nearly 70 roles in some of the world's leading opera houses. The Hollies

Formed in 1962 and still performing today, 'The Hollies' are loved for their distinctive vocal harmonies and their beat/pop hits.
