Hammersmith Road, Greater London W148UX

The Olympia is one of London’s finest venues combining breathtaking Victorian architecture, wonderful viewing galleries and a fantastic barrel-vaulted roof, casting natural light over the modern facilities below. Currently undergoing a £50million restoration the Grand Hall can be used for entertainment or exhibition events for anything between 1000 and 12000 guests, with 18000 square meters of floor space and additional hospitality rooms available. The National Hall offers the charm and style of the Grand Hall but for slightly smaller events, holding between 1000 and 3000 guests for banquets, entertainment or premiers. Similarly the purpose built conference center holds 450 delegates and features a tiered seating auditorium and further break-out rooms.

More than that however, the Olympia gives events a certain panache, thanks to the beautiful Victorian architecture and because of the wonderful history that comes with a venue that has been operating since 1886 when it first opened its doors for the Hippodrome Circus. Since then it has hosted some of the country’s most important events and shows including some that started in the 1920’s and continue to this day! From the International Motor Exhibition to the London International Horse Show, and from exhibitions on engineering, tools, shipping, yachts, furniture, advertising and marketing to cookery and food, fashion, holidays and travel; as well as technology expos and long-running shows like the Festival of Mind and Body, the National Cat show and the British Designer shows, the Olympia has seen it all.

Similarly, it has hosted bands, entertainers and events ranging from Disney on Ice to the Gumball Rally and from the Chemical Brothers to Kylie, Justin Timberlake, the Kaiser Chiefs and Madonna, as well as annually hosting the world-famous Brit Awards. The Olympia is truly a memorable venue and not to be missed.

A long time ago the ancient civilisation The Mayans predicted that 2012 would bring cataclysmic events to earth - and while we all wait in anticipation for the end of the world, what better way to spend your final days than to watch one of 2012's blockbusters, coming to a silver screen near you this year.
