British Pink Floyd: The UK-based Pink Floyd tribute band, British Pink Floyd, was formed by Chas Cole and Damian Darlington in 2010.
Cole is CMP Entertainment’s Managing Director and Darlington is the Musical Director of British Pink Floyd.
After The Australian Pink Floyd Show (TAPFS) split up in 2010, Darlington went his separate way from the other three managers and formed his own band.
The name British Pink Floyd was eventually change to just Brit Floyd. Brit Floyd has toured the UK as well as several other countries in Europe.
The band puts on an amazing stage production, complete with projections, inflatables and a light show.
This appearance is a nod to the Pink Floyd’s Division Bell Tour of 1994, which was similar in showmanship.
All of the musicians in Brit Floyd had previously performed with TAPFS, prior to the split.
Darlington performed in every TAPFS show between January 1994 and November 2010.
Brit Floyd first performed for an audience on January 22, 2011, in Liverpool, England, at the Echo Arena.
